Because you matter

If I could make caring solid,

then I would use concrete

which doesn’t suffer from

potholes in the winter.

About poetjena

The idea of this site is merely to provide myself with a means of letting my metaphorical hair down in a literary sense.... stripping those words of the day off me and going in for a quick and wordy skinny-dip. The only provision might be, how close to the bone does one write... although with poetry one can probably get as intense as one likes... How sharp or lethal is the mind which can cut a diamond into two, and still have it look polished? To write like a hero, a lover, a warrior.... words grant us all this and more.

Very imaginative Ma-Li. To think of one thing as if it were something else. I like it.

Aww. This is so sweet. I think anyone who would read this will feel the same. Thanks for this poem, it’s uplifting to read.

    nice imagery.
If I could make caring liquid,

    then I would use mercury

    which doesn’t suffer from

    getting stuck!

If I could make caring gaseous,

    then I would use helium

which doesn’t suffer from being a burden!

  4. I really like this one! :)
